We have won
According to the current Falstaff Hotel Guide, the Astoria Resort Seefeld is the most popular wellness hotel in Austria. The top rating is based on the votes of the Falstaff community, which assessed the hotel across six categories. "Our guests are the best jury – and also the most honest one – which is why this award means so much to me," said Elisabeth Gürtler, who accepted the accolade beaming with delight in Vienna on Wednesday.
Top marks for ambience, wellness and service
The Falstaff community gave us top marks for ambience, wellness and service. The Falstaff Hotel Guide highlights "first-class service, outstanding facilities and breathtaking cuisine" and concludes in its summary assessment that "the cosy, comforting ambience feels just like being at home – with the difference that every wish of the guests, including the four-legged ones, is read from their eyes."
Ready for the reopening
"This award is both confirmation and motivation for us – we are grateful and truly delighted," says Elisabeth Gürtler, who together with her team is looking forward to welcoming and pampering guests once again from 10 June 2021. The Alpin Resort Sacher, formerly the ASTORIA Resort, is currently being refurbished and extended in preparation for the reopening. "The safety and health of our guests and staff are our top priority – but of course everyone should feel comfortable too, and we are doing everything we can to live up to this rating and become even better," says Elisabeth Gürtler.
The success continues
The Falstaff award as the most popular wellness hotel continues the series of accolades for the Alpin Resort Sacher, formerly the ASTORIA Resort: in recent months we have been honoured with a Gault Millau toque, four Relax Guide lilies, the Wellness Heaven Award and the Leading Spa Award.
