One day before International Women's Day, host Elisabeth Gürtler invited guests to the 5th Women's Symposium in Seefeld at the Alpin Resort Sacher Seefeld. Around 100 women accepted the invitation to this Tyrolean hideaway to explore the theme of Better Aging in depth – in other words, the question of how women today can grow older in a healthy, conscious and joyful way.
A focus on holistic health & longevity
Hosted by Eva Pölzl, experts from the fields of medicine, nutrition, mental training and exercise presented the latest findings on longevity, prevention and women's health. Central topics included heart health, hormone balance, nutrition and mental strength – key factors for a healthy and active life.
The Women's Symposium in Seefeld also marked a special milestone: one year of the Sacher Academy For Better Aging. With this innovative concept, the Alpin Resort Sacher Seefeld combines medical expertise with restorative time out. Individually tailored longevity programmes, supported by an interdisciplinary team led by Dr. Katharina Sepp, help guests to strengthen their vitality, energy and quality of life in a lasting way.
Exchange, inspiration and Women's Week
Between the talks by Dr. Katharina Sepp, Ursula Vybiral, Daniel Lener, Manuel Horeth, Dr. Wolfram Schmidt, Dr. Viyan Sido, Caroline Gnaiger, MBA, MSc, Daniela Hruschka and MAS Joachim Pötschger, the symposium offered space for personal exchange, short health checks and inspiring conversations. During the breaks, health checks and offerings from Love Rose and Biogena, among others, were available. The day drew to a pleasurable close with a wine tasting led by sommelière Fanny Salomon, who presented a selection of fine wines.
Immediately afterwards, Women's Week in Seefeld (8–12 March) began at the resort. Participants were able to explore the content of the symposium further through talks, medical analyses and individual sessions with the team of experts – a holistic programme for lasting health and wellbeing.
